You'll need a current, government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms include:
Important: Your ID must not be expired. The name on your ID should match the name on the documents being notarized.
No! Please do NOT sign the documents before we arrive.
As notaries, we must witness you signing the documents in our presence. If documents are already signed, we cannot notarize them. Leave all signature lines blank until we meet with you.
Blue ink is traditionally required and strongly recommended.
Blue ink helps distinguish original signatures from photocopies. While black ink is sometimes acceptable, many title companies, lenders, and legal entities specifically require blue ink. We bring blue pens to every appointment to ensure compliance.
